Jennifer Pascua
WZZM Multi Media Journalist/Weekend AM Anchor

I've been with the station since October 2005. Prior to coming to West Michigan, I worked as a reporter/anchor at television stations in Davenport, IA, Moline, IL and Rockford, Illinois.  I'm a proud Huskie graduating from Northern Illinois University (NIU) in 1998. While working toward my degree, I was a morning drive weekend announcer on WNIJ, an NPR affiliate.

As a reporter, I truly believe in order to tell stories that matter most you have to become involved with the community on both a professional and personal level. That's why I'm always eager to get involved and tell stories that matter most to our viewers.

During my time in Grand Rapids, I've served as a member of multiple organizations. I'm currently Co-President of AAJA Michigan (Asian American Journalism Association) and a former member of the West Michigan Filipino Association.

I'm a 2009 graduate of Leadership Grand Rapids and a Marketing/Fundraising committee member of Catholic Charities West Michigan and CASA of Kent County. I'm also part of the Saint Mary's UpNext Leadership Class of 2011. I'm passionate about encouraging diversity and raising awareness and action to end homelessness and hunger in our community. I'm a volunteer at Kids Food Basket and Gilda's Club of Grand Rapids. I was previously a cheerleading coach at a local parochial school in Grand Rapids.

You'll likely spot me getting involved in a variety of community events, shopping, dancing, enjoying the beach,  and trying out every restaurant West Michigan has to offer.
