Main Street Zeeland Bus Stop Closed

Main Street Zeeland Bus Stop Closed

The Macatawa Area Express Transportation Authority has closed a bus stop on East Main Street in Zeeland on Route 8, effective immediately.

The popular downtown Zeeland bus stop is being closed due to a new fence being constructed by a downtown business around the bus stop, limiting passenger access to the street to board.

MAX plans to add a replacement bus stop at a nearby location intersection in the near future after studying suitable locations.

Passengers traveling on Route 8 are encouraged to contact MAX Customer Service at 355-1010 to find an alternative bus stop near their origin or destination.
