United Methodist Church of the Dunes Hosting Haiti Bike Ride

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. Cycling enthusiasts are being urged to register now for “Haiti Ride 2013”.

The annual bike ride raises funds to support villagers and residents in the island nation of Haiti, as it continues its rebuilding efforts in the wake of the 2010 quake, three recent hurricanes and cholera epidemic.  United Methodist Church of the Dunes (UMCD), at 717 Sheldon Road in Grand Haven, will serve again as the host site for the bike tour.

Haiti Ride 2013 will be held from Wednesday, June 12 through Saturday, June 15.

HOLLAND COMMUNITY AQUATIC CENTER ANNOUNCES "DOUBLE TROUBLE" FOR SPRING BREAK

Two- Person Obstacle Course Donated to HCAC!

Holland, MI - - Thanks to a generous, anonymous donation, the Holland Community Aquatic Center will be offering a new play feature for Spring Break Week 2013! The new feature, "Double Trouble" is a 60-foot long, floating, two-person obstacle course - the largest floating feature ever available at the Aquatic Center!

Spring break Splash Zone hours will begin Friday, March 29 and the Double Trouble obstacle course will be available March 29 - April 7 during all open swim times. Some of the Aquatic Center’s other popular play features like the Aqua Log and Zip Line will also be available when pool space allows.
