Where The Boys Aren’t!

We don’t want whiners, quiet talkers, over talkers,
wall flowers, bad listeners, no shows, or people with abundant issues. Nope, they’re not invited. We want girlfriends, women you haven’t seen in a while, sorority sisters, bridesmaids, old maids, 20-somethings, 30-somethings, 40-somethings, fashionistas, legally blonds, ya ya sisters, and members of the red hat society!

That’s right! A weekend with no kids, no husbands, no work. . . just you and your best gal pals! Downtown Holland’s Girlfriends Weekend offers an indulgent and eclectic mix of wining, dining, fashion, makeovers, fitness and shopping.

The holiday season is upon us, but while many of us are enjoying our Thanksgiving days off by sleeping in and relaxing, there are some that brave the cold weather and dark skies among long lines and anxious attitudes in hopes of getting their hands on the best deals of the year.

If you're one of those brave Black Friday shoppers, we would like hear from you. Please send us you photos along with your name, location, and a brief comment about your experience to MyTown@wzzm13.com for our My Town Black Friday photo gallery to be published early next week.

Until then, good luck and safe shopping!!

Herman Miller Select Program Announces Newest Edition

News Release:

Herman Miller Inc. announced today that the Nelson Round Tray Table has been chosen as the 2011 Select Program offering and is immediately available for order. First introduced in 1961, The Round Tray Table exemplifies George Nelson’s belief that objects should be “designed to meet fully the requirements of modern living.” His statement is as true today as it was during his tenure as Herman Miller’s design director. Intended to serve as a multipurpose table for use in the home or office, the trim and elegant round Tray Table was originally offered in a walnut or teak veneer with a chrome pedestal tube and black enamel two-section base.
