ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) - Ottawa County deputies believe alcohol played a role in a crash that seriously injured a Zeeland man.

It happened shortly after 9:30 p.m. Friday in Robinson Township. Investigators say a Kentwood man ran a stop sign at 120th Avenue and Lake Michigan Drive, hitting a car driven by 24-year-old Christopher Hodge.

Hodge was taken to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital with serious injuries. The other driver is also in a hospital where his condition is stable.
