Inspection reveals multiple violations at motel | News

HOLLAND, Mich. (WZZM) - Holland city code inspectors did a full investigation of the Wooden Shoe Motel this week and found numerous violations still remain. 

Last month, a 13 On Your Side investigation uncovered a letter the city sent to motel management, which threatened to close the business if there were any more violations.  City officials say this week's inspection shows that a wide range of issues still violate city code, including problems with the electrical system and the condition of the rooms. 

Inspectors are reviewing the list of recent violations and could decide whether or not to suspend the the business license next week.
