ZEELAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) - Everything from clothes to electronics is missing from more than 30 storage units in Zeeland. Ottawa County Sheriff's deputies say Sunday night or early Monday, someone cut the fence to the Ottogan Self Storage, then used bolt cutters to get into the units.

A renter noticed the damage this morning and called the sheriff's department.

"I feel bad for them because they are the ones that are going to take this loss. My property is insured and they're not. A lot of these folks don't have a lot so and some of them are just going to have to live with it," says Keith Frenz, owner of Ottogan Self Storage.

Deputies have contacted about 15 renters whose units were broken into but they still have more to find.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Ottawa County Sheriff's office or Silent Observer.
