Robber hits Holland pharmacy, flees

HOLLAND, Mich. (WZZM) -- Holland police are looking for the suspect in a strong-armed robbery reported Tuesday afternoon.

Shortly after 3 o'clock, public safety officers were called to Paul's Pharmacy, 803 Lincoln Ave. The suspect demanded cash from the clerk and then ran to a nearby vehicle and drove away. Police said no weapon was seen or implied.

Police describe the suspect as a 25- to 35-year-old man with medium to dark skin tone, 5'5" to 5'8", with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, a black scarf over his face, blue jeans, and black gloves. He drove a minivan believed to be a Pontiac Transport or Montana, from the 1997 to 2005 model years, in tan-over-gray two-tone.
