ZEELAND, Mich. (WZZM)-- Foggy conditions are being blamed for a Zeeland crash sending eight people to the hospital.

It happened just after 6 p.m. Saturday on 88th Avenue. Ottawa County Sheriff's Deputies say a 1998 Oldsmobile Minivan was traveling southbound when the driver ran a stop sign at New Holland. The minivan went into the ditch.

Six adults and two kids inside the vehicle were taken to area hospitals. Everyone is in stable condition.

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Department is continuing to investigate this crash.
