Holland bus stabbing suspect charged

HOLLAND, Mich. (WZZM) -- A Holland man has been officially charged in a stabbing aboard a public bus.

Kris Rodney Alexander, 57, was arraigned on one count of felonious assault. He's being held in the Ottawa County jail.

Police say Alexander stabbed a 36-year-old man aboard a Macatawa Area Express (MAX) bus near 13th and Columbia Ave. around 10:50 a.m. Monday.

Alexander then got off the bus, but officers arrested him near 14th and College.

The victim had non-life-threatening injuries.

Alexander knew the victim, according to police.
