27 boxes of shoes donated to Holland Rescue Mission

HOLLAND, MI - Since mid-summer, Gazelle Sports in Holland has donated more than 27 boxes of gently used shoes to Holland Rescue Mission - and those shoes are being put to great use!

"First, we offer them to our current residents, many who own one pair of shoes. The others we are able to sell at our thrift stores or bail for a profit which goes toward feeding and sheltering the homeless," commented Bob Koelndorfer, Warehouse Manager at Holland Rescue Mission.

The message is greater than just shoes.

"Gazelle Sports is passionate about the community and with the Holland Rescue Mission around the corner, it just makes sense to support the work they're doing," said Vicki Kavanaugh of Gazelle Sports.
