Check out Upper Macatawa Natural Area

ZEELAND TWP. - Need a hike this weekend with some new scenery?

As we were driving around putting our boy to sleep Sunday (don't ask), we came across the Upper Macatawa Natural Area, off of 76th Avenue south of Byron Road.

There were no cars in the parking lot and it looked like a very nice area.  Signs were posted to help identify birds that you may see on your walk.  There were also several picnic tables and a portajohn.

The area is very out of the way, so I'm not sure how many people even know it is there.
