Muskegon area has reported they have raised more than $37,500 made possible by the 270 plus residents who participated in their recent Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s and to reclaim the future for millions of people. The Walk was held recently at Heritage Landing.

Jennifer Howard, Executive Director of the Alzheimer’s Association, Michigan Great Lakes Chapter, commented: “I was inspired by local residents uniting in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease by participating in this walk.”

Participants also learned more about this debilitating disease and the Association’s critical role in the fight against it, including the latest about Alzheimer’s research and current clinical trials and how they can become more involved in advocacy efforts at home and in Washington, DC.
