Cities of similar populations across the country compete against one andother based on six different categories (Floral Display, Landscaped Areas, Urban Forestry, Environmental Efforts, Heritage Preservation, Overall Impression). This is the second year the City of Holland has entered the AIB contest.  In 2011, Holland won first place in their Population Category and first place in the Tidiness Category. This year judges from AIB will be visiting Holland July 31-August 2 and the city is preparing to "WOW" them again in the hopes of taking home first place in all 6 categories!
