Elzinga & Volkers announces the promotion of five key employees | Business
HOLLAND, Mich.-- Elzinga & Volkers, a leading provider of construction management services, has announced the promotion of five key employees: Amy Elston, Jordan Gougeon, Brett Lesiewicz, Nate Meeuwsen and Shaun Price.
Amy Elston has been promoted to marketing manager. Elston has more than eight years of experience in construction management and has been with E&V since 2013. In her new role, Elston will be responsible for oversight of all the marketing activities and initiatives including sales proposals and presentations, special events and branding. She earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and commercial real estate from Marquette University.
Jordan Gougeon has been promoted to project manager following his critical role in several healthcare and senior living projects, including Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial, Spectrum Health United Hospital, and United Methodist Retirement Communities in Chelsea. Outside of his experience in healthcare and senior living, he has been involved with several other projects in West Michigan, such as the Quality Car Wash on Chicago Drive in Holland, a park and ride facility for The Rapid’s Silver Line in Grand Rapids, and the “Uniting Sun” project with the Community Foundation of Holland/Zeeland. In his new position, Gougeon will oversee estimating, pre-construction, scheduling and execution of projects.
Brett Lesiewicz has been with E&V since 2012 and has played a vital role in many healthcare projects, including Mercy Health Saint Mary’s floor renovations, Saint Mary’s cafeteria renovation and Holland Hospital projects. Lesiewicz has been promoted to project manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Ferris State University.
Nate Meeuwsen has been promoted to firestop manager. During his seven years at E&V, Meeuwsen has served as field manager, senior field manager and site project manager. In his new position, Meeuwsen will lead the specialty trade division, Elzinga & Volkers Firestop Solutions, providing support to field operations, business development and overall administration. Meeuwsen will also act as the Designated Responsible Individual for a variety of accreditations and affiliations that the division maintains. He’s earned an associate’s degree in pre-architecture from Calvin College and a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Michigan State University.
Shaun Price has been promoted to firestop field manager at E&V. Price’s new role will include scheduling and managing the firestop technicians, assisting the firestop project manager and educating contractors and trade contractors on the details of proper firestopping.
