GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.—LaughFest returns to Grand Rapids, Lowell and Holland in March, but now is the time to sign up to help.

Volunteer registration opened this week on the LaughFest website.   Opportunities during the 10-day festival of laughter include event promotion, logistics, ushering, selling merchandise and office support.  Organizers will hold two volunteer informational meetings at the following times:

 

  • Saturday, Dec. 14 at 10:30 a.m.

             Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids

             1896 Bridge St. NW, Grand Rapids

 

  • Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 6:30 p.m.

              Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids

              1896 Bridge St. NW, Grand Rapids

 

LaughFest will take place in Grand Rapids, Lowell and Holland March 6 through March 16, 2014.  A festival orientation kickoff for volunteers will take place Thursday, Jan. 30 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Steelcase town Hall on 44th Street in Grand Rapids.
