Reward increased for tips in Holland robbery case

HOLLAND, Mich. (WZZM)- Silent Observer in Holland is increasing its reward for information about an armed robbery that hospitalized one man. 

The attack happened in the 400 block of Columbia Avenue on Sunday afternoon.  Police say a masked man pointed a gun at the victim and hit him in the head several time.  The thief ran away with the victim's belongings.  The 19-year old victim was treated at a nearby hospital for head and facial injuries.

Police believe the attack may be related to other recent robberies.

The reward is now up to $2,500.  Anyone with information on this case should call Silent Observer at 1-877-88SILENT.
