“IMAGES: A Reflection of Cultures" - Nov. 20 at Hope College

HOLLAND – An international showcase and cuisine will provide a sampling of cultural heritage from around the world during Hope College’s “IMAGES: A Reflection of Cultures” on Saturday, Nov. 20.

“Images” will begin with a dinner featuring international cuisine from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Phelps Hall dining room. For those not on the college’s meal plan, admission to the dinner will be $5 per person, payable at the door.

The international showcase, to which admission is free, will begin at 7 p.m. at the Knickerbocker Theatre. The showcase will feature an array of songs, dances, instrumental performances and other clips of culture in multiple languages and fashions.

More than 30 students will participate from countries such as China, France, Honduras, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the United States.

“IMAGES: A Reflection of Cultures” is sponsored by the Hope College Office of International Education and will conclude the college’s International Education Week, which will begin Monday, Nov. 15.
