HOLLAND, Mich.- Zeeland West High School and Visual Communications student at Careerline Tech Center (CTC), Stephanie Miller, recently won third place at the North American International Auto Show's (NAIAS) 23rd Annual High School Poster Contest in the 11th grade division. Miller received $100, a framed certificate, and two tickets to the Auto Show for her winning design.

Established to engage the creative minds of Michigan's future artists, the annual contest recognizes students from local art communities. The 2011 contest received 740 poster entries from 79 high schools all over the state of Michigan.

Sally Salkowski, Visual Communications Instructor for Careerline Tech Center, was pleased with Miller's third place win. "Once again this year, one of CTC's Visual Communications students has placed in this extremely tough competition," said Salkowski.
"I'm just so proud of these students and their awesome talents!"

Miller's poster will be displayed at the upcoming auto show event, held January 10-23 at Detroit's Cobo Center.
