Dr. Seuss exhibition opening delayed due to roof leak

Inclement weather has caused a serious roof leak at Holland Museum, forcing the rescheduling of its highly-anticipated "Secret Art of Dr. Seuss" exhibition.  In addition to pushing back the official opening, the Member Preview scheduled for Wednesday, January 19, has been canceled.

The museum will be closed through this Friday, January 21 and reopen on Saturday, the 22nd at 10 am.  The Focus Gallery Dr. Seuss exhibit will be open at that time.

The museum has scheduled a "Seuss-a-bration" for Wednesday, January 26, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to make up for the inconvenience.  Admission is FREE for the event.

Executive Director, Thea Grigsby, encourages community members to make a donation to cover the cost of the unexpected roof repair.

"This is a very serious unforeseen issue and we're welcoming any financial assistance that the community can offer," Grigsby says.
