Coming to Holland, Yoda Is

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Grand Rapids, Mich. ā€“ Sept. 29  Famous voice actor Tom Kane will appear at the "Animation Celebration" animation film festival on December 4 at the Knickerbocker Theater in Holland, Mich.

Kane, best known for voicing the iconic character, Yoda, in the hit Cartoon Network show "Star Wars: The Clone Wars", has a career that spans over fifteen years.

His voice has also been featured in numerous popular animated television shows including "Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends", "Kim Possible", "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy", and "Robot Chicken", as well as many video games.

"It is wonderful to have a person of Tom's stature at the 'Animation Celebration' event," said event coordinator Mark Hodges. "This will be a great opportunity for kids and fans to meet one of the busiest voice actors in the country. In addition, it isn't common for an actor from a huge hit such as 'Clone Wars' to appear in a town like Holland, so this is especially unique."

Kane will host seminars at the event about voice acting as well as sign autographs and meet and greet with the fans in attendance.

The events group planning the festival, Phoenix E.V., announced stop-motion animator Justin Kohn as a guest last month. Kohn's body of work includes The Nightmare Before Christmas, Coraline, James and the Giant Peach, and more.
